EYES! LIPS! FACE! ELF COSMETICS PRODUCT REVIEW
I am a bargain hunter like the next person and I love to find great cosmetic buys on a budget. I've been using the ELF brand ever since it came on the market years ago. I was skeptical at first because of the price point but I've found that they have some great products for $1-$3. What I love most about this line is that they are in constant contact wiht their client which is so important because it keeps us coming back for MORE!!. There is a sale almost every single day, I am not kidding. The sales and discounts vary but you can expect 50% off, BOGO, FREE SHIPPING AND FREE PRODUCTS with your order. Please go to their site and sign up. I am always trying out their new products and I will review often for you all. www.EyesLipsFace.com
Makeup Removing Cleansing Clothes. I swear I have about 30 packs of these in my makeup studio now. These are a staple in my kit. They feel great on the skin and they do not irritate my sensitive skin or my clients. They cost but I only buy them when they are 50% off so that I can stock up.
DUO EYE SHADOW CREAM
This is my next favorite product that I cannot live without in my kit. I use it to base this eyes as a primer to hold the eyeshadow in mplace all day long. My clients shadow has been known to stay on for a few days if needed LOL. For $1 it's a steal!!!! and when they are 50% off I get them .50.
GLITTER GLOSS
It has a nice smooth feel and it has Vitamin E for the hydration so that your lips dont dry out or flake. It looks great alone OR on top of a nice lipstick.

I am so sorry that my last blog post was so long ago. I just want to update you on what has been going on with The Glam Doctor. I've been able to do so many amazing things and work with so many amazing people. I had the pleasure of being the makeup department head on 3 movies of which two have been released ~Blessed and Curse http://www.blessedandcursedthemovie.com/ and CornerStore Movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1670389/.
I've been able to work with a few celebrities~Nelly, Robin Givens, Leon, Drew Sidora, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Brandon T Jackson, JMoss, 21:03, Kierra "KiKi" Sheard, Karen Clark-Sheard, Angela Winbush, Deitrick Haddon, Mali Music, Keith Washington, Sheryl Lee Ralph (I did not do her makeup but I got to touch up her lips lol), worked doing makeup for Aretha's backup dancers and so much more. Wedding and Prom Season has been wonderful. We beautified close to 35 prom girls and 42 brides by the end of October photos coming soon. So The Glam R Us staff has been quite busy. We've given back to a few charities as well this year. The Glam Doctor worked with the following charities The Rhonda Walker Foundation, The Dave Thomas foundation where I was a celebrity chef at Benihanna "wayyy cool" and as always we give United Way a giveaway to use for it's fundraisers at AT&T. This year we are connecting with MDA to raise money by being locked in jail at Hockey Town on Oct 5. We are also the leading makeup team for Impact Network which is the first African American owned Christian Television network. I also got to work with the amazing renowned international photo journalist Monica Morgan who has been a great mentor and friend. I attended The Makeup Show Chicago and had an amazing time , but the highlight of my trip was getting to meet someone whom I've admired from afar Sam Fine. To say the least, we have been very busy!!!! Look out for product reviews, client spotlights, Bridal Bliss a section where we will talk about brides and their bridal makeup and all of the things that we will have coming up.

Wear it out!
Wear it out!
Have you ever saved an outfit for a special occasion so long that when you finally pulled it out it was out of style? Why do we save certain outfits and clothes for what we feel is a special occasion? How come we don’t classify every living day as a special occasion? Looking good boosts your self-esteem, so what are you saving your best stuff for? Wear clothes, make-up jewelry, shoes, underwear (matching of course) and fragrances that you love everyday. Don’t put off feeling good. Choose outfits that fit and flatter your body now, not the body you wish for. Show yourself some affection everyday. Stop putting off wearing an outfit tomorrow when you can wear it today. Pop the tags and put it on. Everyday is a special occasion. What are your thoughts?

Beauty on a Budget!
I LOVE beauty on a budget and things that I can do quick and in a hurry. My Favorite products right now are the following and all from the drug store. Also remember my rules, do not shop for cosmetics at the drug store unless they are buy one get one half off or Buy One Get One.The reason I love this product is because it combs through my lashes and makes them look nice and long. I apply 2 to 3 coats. So I dont have to always apply a set of false lashes.
Okay I loveeeee bronzers and I dont like to pay a lot of money for them. This is the one I am loving now. They come in several shades but the one I am wearing daily is Urban Chic. It's a duo compact with two colors. One is darker for a nice deep mauve color on the cheek/eye or lip it has a nice shimmer to hit that when it hits the light looks angelic on your face. The other color is a very light rose color that is beautiful for highlighting your cheek bones or the bridge of your nose or you can add to your eyes or the lips. Be careful with wearing this on the eye alone, as it will began to crease because of the natural oils one your eyelids. You will want to put a nice shadow on top of it and it will make the eyeshadow color really pop.
Eyeliner (priced around $2-$3)
WetNWild H2O Proof Liquid Eyeliner
WetNWild H2O Proof Liquid Eyeliner
I Love this liner because it has a pointy pen like tip that allows me to apply the liner precisely on my top lip without ever messing up the line. I can make the line as thick or as thin as I want and I am always happy with the outcome. I generally in the summer tend to stay away from liner on my bottom lid because I rub my eyes a lot and I rub it off or runs really bad. So I am safe with this waterproof liner and I look great wearing it.

Lip Gloss (priced around $3)
Black Radiance Radiant Lip Gloss in Barely Nude

Black Radiance Radiant Lip Gloss in Barely Nude
I love a nude lip. This gloss is GREAT. It goes on beautifully and looks
so very natural. It's also long lasting. I have so many of these glosses but this color is my favorite for the Spring/Summer Season.

Okay this is technically an eyebrow pencil but as with most makeup you can use it for multiple purposes ie: eyeliner and lip liner too. I love this brow pencil in Medium Brown to fill in my very thin brows and I love wearing it as a nude lip liner when wear my nude color lip gloss. You get two in a pack and they come in all colors black, light brown, medium brown, dark brown, auburn and blonde.
I have tried LOTS of makeup removers and a lot of them did not deliver as promised or they burned my eyes. Hands down the Mary Kay eye makeup remover does it for me!! I feel that the mascara literally melts off as I am applying the remover, even waterproof mascara. It comes off very quickly and my eyes dont hurt when I done.
Until next time this is your prescription for an Exquisite Look!
