I am so sorry that my last blog post was so long ago. I just want to update you on what has been going on with The Glam Doctor. I've been able to do so many amazing things and work with so many amazing people. I had the pleasure of being the makeup department head on 3 movies of which two have been released ~Blessed and Curse http://www.blessedandcursedthemovie.com/ and CornerStore Movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1670389/.
I've been able to work with a few celebrities~Nelly, Robin Givens, Leon, Drew Sidora, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Brandon T Jackson, JMoss, 21:03, Kierra "KiKi" Sheard, Karen Clark-Sheard, Angela Winbush, Deitrick Haddon, Mali Music, Keith Washington, Sheryl Lee Ralph (I did not do her makeup but I got to touch up her lips lol), worked doing makeup for Aretha's backup dancers and so much more. Wedding and Prom Season has been wonderful. We beautified close to 35 prom girls and 42 brides by the end of October photos coming soon. So The Glam R Us staff has been quite busy. We've given back to a few charities as well this year. The Glam Doctor worked with the following charities The Rhonda Walker Foundation, The Dave Thomas foundation where I was a celebrity chef at Benihanna "wayyy cool" and as always we give United Way a giveaway to use for it's fundraisers at AT&T. This year we are connecting with MDA to raise money by being locked in jail at Hockey Town on Oct 5. We are also the leading makeup team for Impact Network which is the first African American owned Christian Television network. I also got to work with the amazing renowned international photo journalist Monica Morgan who has been a great mentor and friend. I attended The Makeup Show Chicago and had an amazing time , but the highlight of my trip was getting to meet someone whom I've admired from afar Sam Fine. To say the least, we have been very busy!!!! Please check back often as this blog will be updated at least once a week so that I can keep you my fans and clients abreast of the happenings of The Glam Doctor. Look out for product reviews, client spotlights, Bridal Bliss a section where we will talk about brides and their bridal makeup and all of the things that we will have coming up.

I love it! It is so refreshing to know that there are other Women (of Color) Entrepreneurs that are giving back to their community without looking for something in return! Keep up the good work! Love you Girl!
I'm with you Liz! I've known Glam for a long time, and you not only receive the greatest service, but for other makeup artists and esteticians, you will get great advice and constructive feedback!
